Fei Wang

Fei Wang is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Missouri State University. He earned his PhD from Iowa State University, MS from Zhejiang University, and Bachelor's from Qingdao University of Science and Technology.

His research centers on high-temperature synthesis of intermetallic compounds, incommensurate crystal structures, energy-related materials (especially thermoelectrics), and computational band structure analysis. His work bridges experimental solid-state chemistry with theoretical modeling to develop advanced functional materials.

Recent publications focus on nanocrystal catalysis, superconducting materials, and thermoelectric property optimization through crystal engineering and doping strategies.

He teaches General Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, and Chemical Kinetics courses.
