Fei-Ran Tian is a Professor of Mathematics at The Ohio State University, holding positions since 1995. His research focuses on Partial Differential Equations, Zero Dispersion Limits, Whitham Equations, and Modulation of Dispersive Oscillations. He earned his Ph.D. from New York University's Courant Institute in 1991, advised by Peter D. Lax.
