Federica Franzè

Federica Franzè serves as a Senior Lecturer in Italian and Director of the language program at Columbia University. She holds a Ph.D. in German and Comparative Literature with a focus on cinema and literature of migration, and a Master's Degree in Refugee Protection and Forced Migration Studies from the University of London (2021).

Her research is complemented by active volunteering in refugee integration projects in New York City and Italy.

She has published her thesis on integration projects for asylum seekers and refugees in Italy in the Refugee Law Initiative, contributing to the field of refugee law and policy.
