Fco. Javier Rodero Cosano

Fco. Javier Rodero Cosano is an Associate Professor at the University of Málaga, affiliated with the Faculty of Economic and Business Sciences and the Department of Economics. His research focuses on Behavioral Economics, Experimental Economics, and Industrial Organization. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Jaén. Dr. Rodero Cosano is involved in research groups such as the Chair in Competition Policy and the Experimental Lab (Smart Decision Lab). He teaches courses like Behavioral Economics (in English) and Graduate Microeconomics.

His research explores topics including strategic behavior in markets, experimental investigations of public goods and contests, and pedagogical approaches to game theory. He has contributed to understanding priming effects in Bertrand competition and classroom experiments demonstrating Nash equilibrium concepts. He is associated with the THE–Motiva Grant and actively participates in seminars, workshops, and conferences related to economic theory.
