Fayth M. Butler is an Associate Professor at Loma Linda University, with appointments in Preventive Medicine (School of Medicine) and Basic Sciences, Biochemistry Division (School of Medicine), as well as School of Public Health. Her research bridges molecular biology, epidemiology, nutrition, and bioinformatics to explore lifestyle factors' impact on cancer and chronic disease biomarkers.
Research Interests focus on epigenetics, metabolic profiles, and health disparities, particularly how vegetarian diets influence DNA methylation and plasma metabolomics. Recent work includes analyzing Adventist Health Study-2 data to identify biomarkers linked to lifestyle.
