Faye Rogers

Dr. Faye Rogers is a Professor of Therapeutic Radiology at Yale School of Medicine and serves as Associate Cancer Center Director for Collaborative Excellence at Yale Cancer Center. She also holds positions as Vice Chair for Collaborative Excellence in Therapeutic Radiology, Associate Director of the Yale MD-PhD Program, and Director of the Yale BioMed Amgen Scholars Program.

Dr. Rogers' research focuses on DNA repair mechanisms and targeted cancer therapies. Her work centers on triplex-forming oligonucleotides and their applications in targeting specific gene loci for cancer treatment, particularly in breast cancer and other malignancies with DNA repair deficiencies. She investigates how to exploit genomic instability in cancer cells through novel therapeutic approaches including antibody-drug conjugates and natural product-derived DNA repair inhibitors.

Her recent publications demonstrate a consistent focus on DNA damage response pathways, with particular emphasis on BRCA-related mechanisms, IDH1-mutant cancers, and PTEN-deficient glioblastoma. The research shows a progression from basic mechanisms of triplex-induced DNA damage to translational applications in targeted cancer therapy.
