Faye Nixon

Farre “Faye” Nixon is an Assistant Professor in the School of Landscape Architecture at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Urban Studies and Planning from MIT and dual Master's degrees in Architecture and Landscape Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania’s Weitzman School of Design. Her work emphasizes transdisciplinary collaboration, speculative design methodologies, and addressing Anthropocene challenges through creative practices.

Professional Experience: Prior to academia, she worked at Kounkuey Design Initiative (Los Angeles) and Snøhetta (Oslo), focusing on planning, landscape design, and community-driven projects.
