Fawzi Awad

Fawzi Awad is a Lecturer of Business Administration at Capella University's School of Business, Technology, and Health Care Administration. He holds a BS and MS in Environmental and Public Health from the University of Wisconsin and a PhD from Walden University. With over 35 years of healthcare experience, he specializes in quality and process improvement initiatives. Notably, he led a Minnesota state-wide healthcare project (2003–2007) achieving exceptional outcomes.

He has taught graduate and undergraduate courses at Capella for six years, including MGMT 4490: Strategic Management. His academic advising includes chairing doctoral dissertations and capstone projects in the Doctor of Health Care Administration program. Research interests focus on healthcare administration, strategic management, and public health systems optimization.
