Dr. Fawn T. Robinson is an Associate Professor and Director of the Professional Counseling Programs at Carlow University. She oversees the Master of Professional Counseling Program (Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Addictions Counseling tracks), Post-Master’s Certifications in Addictions Counseling and School-Based Mental Health Counseling, and the Accelerated Master’s Professional Counseling Program.
- Education: PhD in Counselor Education & Supervision (Duquesne University), MA in Student Affairs (Slippery Rock University), BSBA in Business Administration-Finance (Clarion University).
Her research focuses on historical trauma and racial oppression of marginalized populations, culturally-responsive interventions, and professional identity development in counseling. She is the Director of the School-Based Mental Health Training Institute, funded by a U.S. Department of Education grant, providing community mental health services and education.
Dr. Robinson is actively involved in professional organizations such as the American Counseling Association (ACA), Association for Multicultural Counseling and Development (AMCD), and Chi Sigma Iota Honor Society. Her work emphasizes multiculturalism, social justice, and community service.
