Fatma Nur Yaman is a Lecturer at Gaziantep University's Naci Topcuoglu Vocational School, specializing in Textile, Clothing, Shoes and Leather Department. She holds a Master's degree in Art and Design from Gaziantep University (2021-2024), a Master's in Fashion Design from Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University (2017-2020), and another Master's in Fashion Design from Gazi University (2017-2019), preceded by a Bachelor's in Textile and Fashion Design from Halic University (2007-2013).
Her research focuses on textile and footwear design, with particular emphasis on technical drawing, fashion presentation techniques, and surface design. She has contributed to national projects like the establishment of an accredited footwear testing center in Gaziantep (2017-2018) as a researcher.
She has been teaching courses including Shoe and Bag Design, Technical Drawing, Fashion Presentation Techniques, and Professional Design and Production since 2016. Her pedagogical approach integrates practical skills like footwear cutting/sewing technologies with theoretical components such as Fashion Research Methods and General Professional Ethics.
