Fatma Fatoş Babuna

Prof. Dr. Fatma Fatoş Babuna is a distinguished professor at the Department of Environmental Engineering, Istanbul Technical University, with over 35 years of academic and professional experience. She holds a PhD in Environmental Engineering from Istanbul Technical University and has served in various academic roles including Department Head (2002) and as Principal Investigator for the BAP project 'Building-Related Environmental Impacts and Reduction Strategies' (2022-2024).

Current research (2024) examines photochemical fungicide removal and wind turbine sustainability with 1184 total citations. Collaborations include projects with researchers across Turkey and Italy, focusing on LCA methodologies and industrial pollution control.
