Fatma DEMİRCAN, MD is an Assistant Professor at Uskudar University, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Anesthesia and Reanimation. She holds a medical degree from İstanbul University, Faculty of Medicine (2002), completed her specialty in Anesthesia and Reanimation in 2008, and obtained her specialization with a thesis on preoperative anxiety's impact on postoperative agitation (2013). She worked at Bingöl Public Hospital (2013–2015) and Bezmialem University (2015–2018). She teaches courses including Klinik Anestezi and Anestezi Uygulamaları II.
Her research focuses on cardiovascular surgery, transplantation surgery, preoperative anxiety management, and neurosurgical anesthesia. She has published in international/national journals and is affiliated with organizations like TARD, Turkish Medical Association, European Paediatric Association, and TYBD.
