Dr Fanni Toth is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Institute for Creative Futures, specializing in the project ‘Populist Backlash, Democratic Backsliding, and the Crisis of the Rule of Law in the European Union (POPBACK)’, focusing on Hungary. Her research explores democratic consolidation, political communication, and illiberal trends in Central and Eastern Europe.
