Fangzhou Song

Fangzhou Song is a PhD candidate at the School of Divinity, University of Edinburgh, specializing in New Testament and Christian Origins. She serves as a Tutor for undergraduate courses on 'Jesus and the Gospels'. Her academic journey includes a BEng from Beijing, MDiv from Kosin University (South Korea), and MTh from the University of Edinburgh.

Her research focuses on hermeneutical approaches to biblical texts, particularly Christological interpretations in the Epistle of Barnabas. She also engages with Pauline Epistles, Synoptic Gospels, and intertextuality in early Christian literature.

Her work contributes to understanding early Christian theology through non-canonical texts and contextualizing them within Second Temple Judaism and early church developments.
