Fangmin Lin is a Research Fellow at the Karl Jaspers Centre, Heidelberg University, Germany. He is affiliated with the project "Problems of Ascription in the Corpus of Paramārtha: A Computational Philological Study" led by Prof. Michael Radich, funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG). His research bridges Indian Buddhist philosophy and computational philology, focusing on epistemology and philosophy of mind through Abhidharma, Madhyamaka, and Yogācāra traditions. While his current work centers on expanding Buddhist studies from India to China, he collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to apply computer-based methodologies to philological analysis.
