Fang Wan serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Information Systems department at Boston University within the Questrom School of Business. Their office is located in the Rafik B. Hariri Building at 595 Commonwealth Avenue, Boston, MA 02215.
Research interests focus on Healthcare IT, Telemedicine, and Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare, with a particular emphasis on technology adoption, heterogeneous patient preferences, and health data interoperability.
Recent publications analyze telemedicine effort costs in healthcare platforms (2024), health information exchange impacts on long-term care quality (2023), and AI patenting trends in healthcare IT (2022).
