Professor Fallou Ngom is a Professor at the African Studies Center, Boston University. His research focuses on African intellectual histories, Islam in Africa, Ajami literatures, and sociolinguistics. He holds offices at PLS 507, 232 Bay State Road. His work bridges linguistic anthropology, religious studies, and African diaspora scholarship.

Awards & Grants: Recipient of Fulbright, ACLS, and Guggenheim fellowships. Recent projects supported by British Library Endangered Archives Programme and National Endowment for the Humanities. Awarded 2017 Melville J. Herskovits Prize for his seminal book on Ajami and the Murīdiyya.
