Faith Moy

Dr. Faith Moy serves as Lecturer and Fieldwork Faculty in the Department of Occupational Therapy within the College of Health, Human Services and Nursing at California State University, Dominguez Hills. With over 35 years of clinical experience spanning NICU, pediatric rehabilitation, school-based settings, and early intervention programs, she brings extensive practical expertise to her academic role.

Her educational credentials include:

• Occupational Therapy Doctorate, University of Utah
• Bachelor of Science in Occupational Science, University of Southern California
• Advanced training in Ayres Sensory Integration (Evaluation certification in progress)

Dr. Moy's scholarship focuses on community-based fieldwork innovation and intraprofessional collaboration. She has developed three faculty-led fieldwork programs serving at-risk adolescents, adults with disabilities, and children through partnerships with the City of Carson Community Center. Her collaborative model with Santa Ana College's OTA program demonstrates effective OT-OTA teamwork in community settings, earning the 2021 OTAC Vision Award.

As Fieldwork Faculty, Dr. Moy supervises clinical placements while teaching adolescent conditions coursework. Her community-integrated approach creates meaningful student experiences that address real population needs through sustainable partnerships with Carson Community Center and Santa Ana College, providing hands-on training in underserved settings while expanding occupational therapy services to vulnerable communities.
