Fadilla Noor Rahma

Fadilla Noor Rahma holds a dual role as a Lecturer and Researcher at the Department of Chemical Engineering, Universitas Islam Indonesia, alongside being a PhD Candidate at the Department of Energy and Process Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, NTNU. Her research focuses on improving biogas production and digestate handling through hydrothermal gasification integration with anaerobic digestion. She has presented her work at multiple workshops, including BIOSYNGAS events in 2022 and 2023. Rahma earned her bachelor’s degree from Universitas Gadjah Mada (2014) and a master’s from The University of Manchester (2017).

Her academic contributions span process modeling, energy/exergy analysis, and parametric studies on hydrothermal gasification systems. Recent publications emphasize comparative studies between thermal and hydrothermal gasification methods, thermodynamic parameter effects, and system integration challenges. Outreach activities include lectures on modeling advancements and continuous reactor applications in hydrothermal gasification.
