Fabrizio Storti

Fabrizio Storti is a Full Professor of Structural Geology at the Department of Chemistry, Life Sciences and Environmental Sustainability, University of Parma, Italy. Previously, he held roles as Associate Professor at Parma University (since 2011) and Roma Tre University (2005–2011), and was a Post-Doctoral Fellow at Roma Tre University (1996). He earned his Ph.D. in Structural Geology from Pisa University in 1995.

His research focuses on Geodynamics, Tectonics, and Structural Geology, with emphasis on fault-related folds, fault zone evolution, thrust belts, and passive margins (e.g., Ross Sea, Antarctica). He employs fieldwork, geometric-kinematic modeling, analogue modeling, and geophysical data analysis. He has published over 80 peer-reviewed papers (72 international), including contributions to journals like Tectonophysics and the Journal of Structural Geology.
