Fabrizio Iozzi is a Lecturer in the Department of Computing Sciences at the University of Bocconi. He holds a Master's degree in Mathematics from the University of Milan (1989) and has taught Mathematics, Computer Science, and Programming since 1990, initially at Politecnico di Milano before joining Bocconi in 2000. He served as Lab Manager at the Bocconi Experimental Laboratory for the Social Sciences (BELSS) from 2013 to 2016 and assisted in directing the BEMACS program until 2022. Since 2022, he has supported the Master in Artificial Intelligence program and coordinates computational education initiatives.
His research interests focus on technology-enhanced learning and agent-based modeling, with notable contributions to epidemiological contact patterns analysis and Schelling's segregation model implementations. He teaches advanced courses in Computer Programming, Database Systems, AI Algorithms, and Python for Economics/Finance.
Publications include seminal works in PLOS Computational Biology and NetLogo-based social simulations. His teaching portfolio spans introductory computer science modules to specialized courses for economics, management, and finance students.
