Fabrizio Di Mascio is a Full Professor at the Interuniversity Department of Territorial Sciences, Planning and Policies (DIST), affiliated with the Polytechnic University of Turin. He actively contributes to the PhD program in Urban and Regional Development and serves as Academic Advisor for the Master's program in Digital Skills for Sustainable Societal Transitions. He is the course owner of Digital Government Transformation and has taught Innovation and Urban Governance in the PhD program since 2019/20.
His research focuses on urban and regional development, with an emphasis on digital transformation in governance, policy capacity, and sustainable societal transitions. His work supports interdisciplinary approaches to public policy innovation and migrant integration through knowledge exchange.
He supervises several PhD candidates, including Cristina Trey, Niccolò Aimo, and Andrea Ricci, whose research explores street-level bureaucracy, gambling policy, and migrant integration. He has been a consistent member of doctoral colleges at Politecnico di Torino from the 35th to the 40th cycle (2019–2025).
Fabrizio Di Mascio is also involved in academic governance, contributing to program development and educational leadership within the DIST department. His teaching and supervision reflect a strong commitment to training future scholars in urban policy and digital transformation.
