Fabrice GABARROT is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Burgundy, affiliated with the Laboratoire Socio-Psychologie et Management du Sport. His research focuses on Social Psychology, with an emphasis on Gender, Intergroup Relations, Social Identity, Social Influence, Prejudice, Stereotypes, and Workplace Discrimination.
He holds a PhD in Social Psychology and has explored themes such as stereotype threat in women's math performance, regulatory focus in intergroup emotions, and the paradoxical effects of anti-discrimination norms on prejudice. His work often bridges organizational behavior with social identity theory.
His recent publications analyze employment discrimination against skilled immigrants, gender projection in leadership prototypes, and the role of intergroup similarity in perpetuating inequality. These studies highlight the intersection of social norms, identity dynamics, and systemic biases in professional settings.
