Fabio Gennaretti

Fabio Gennaretti is a Regular Professor and holder of the Canada Research Chair in Dendroecology and Dendroclimatology at the Forest Research Institute (IRF) at University of Quebec in Abitibi-Témiscamingue (UQAT), Rouyn-Noranda Campus. His interdisciplinary research bridges forest ecophysiology, mechanistic modeling, and dendroclimatology to understand forest ecosystem responses to climate change and disturbances across multiple spatial scales.

His work demonstrates sophisticated expertise in ecophysiological modeling (particularly with MAIDEN and MuSICA models) and in the joint analysis of multiple tree-ring traits including width, density, and stable isotopes.
