معرفی
Fabio Alessandro Deorsola serves as a Full Professor in the Department of Applied Science and Technology (DISAT) at the Polytechnic University of Turin, where he is also a member of the Interdepartmental Center Ec-L - Energy Center Lab. He acts as Contact person for the Degree Course in Chemical and Food Engineering (L) and Chemical and Sustainable Process Engineering (LM).
His research spans multiple areas of chemical engineering and environmental technology, with particular focus on air pollution control, anaerobic digestion processes, carbonation, CO2 valorization, power-to-fuel technologies, pyrolysis, and selective catalytic reduction systems. His expertise is reflected in his ERC sector classifications: Chemical engineering, technical chemistry; Chemical physics; Heterogeneous catalysis; and Production technology, process engineering.
Professor Deorsola's publication record demonstrates consistent contributions to sustainable chemical processes, particularly in CO2 conversion, waste valorization, and catalytic processes. His work shows a clear trajectory toward circular economy solutions and sustainable energy systems, with recent publications focusing on advanced catalytic materials, biomethane production, and innovative approaches to waste management.
