Fabien Bessière is a third-year PhD student in Fundamental Mathematics at the Institute Élie Cartan de Lorraine, University of Lorraine (Metz, France), under the supervision of Hervé Oyono-Oyono. His research focuses on noncommutative geometry, operator algebras, and K-theory.
- Education: Pursuing a PhD (doctorat) in mathematics; completed an M2 Research degree at Université de Montpellier (2017–2018).
- Research: Works on generalizing the Higson–Roe exact sequence to étale groupoids, admissible representations, and localized Roe C*-algebras.
- Teaching: Conducts tutorials (TD) and lectures for undergraduate mathematics courses (L1, L2) at UFR MIM.
