Fabian Theis is a Professor at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and serves as Director of the Institute of Computational Biology at Helmholtz Munich. Additionally, he leads the Computational Health Center at Helmholtz Munich and coordinates HelmholtzAI, an initiative promoting artificial intelligence (AI) in biomedical research. His work focuses on leveraging AI, machine learning, and deep learning to model cellular diversity and dynamics, particularly through single-cell sequencing technologies.
