Fabian Parsch is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Toronto. He holds a PhD in Mathematics (2019) and has been recognized for his teaching excellence through multiple awards, including the Best First Year Instructor Award and Ida Bulat Teaching Award.
His research focuses on Quantitative Differential Geometry and Topology, particularly geodesic nets and varifolds. His work bridges theoretical exploration with computational approaches, as evidenced by his publications in the Journal of Differential Geometry and Experimental Mathematics.
He has received prestigious accolades like the Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship and actively contributes to academic governance as a member of the University of Toronto Academic Board (2020–2023). Fabian also combines his mathematical expertise with software development, having founded SAMS-ON GmbH in 2005.
