Fabian Mink

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Fabian Mink is a faculty member at the Institute of Electrical Engineering and Mechatronics (IEM) at Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen. He serves as Program Director and Chair of the Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (EIT) Examination Board, as well as a member of the Railway Engineering Examination Board. His academic responsibilities include coordinating thesis supervision, exam reviews, and teaching courses in power electronics, drive control, and measurement technology.

His research focuses on industrial drive technology and simulation tools like HiL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) for motor emulators. He supervises bachelor's and master's theses with emphasis on numerical field calculations, circuit simulation, and standardized graphical representations in teaching. Funding for his projects comes from THM Strategic Research Fund and HMWK's "Research for Practice" program.
