Fa Wang is an Associate Lecturer and PhD Researcher in Business at the Plymouth Business School (Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Business). He holds roles as a QAA Research Associate, Career Specialist, and Postgraduate Personal Tutor. His teaching spans undergraduate courses like HRL6010 Experiential Practice and HTM314HK Honours Project, as well as postgraduate modules such as PBS7000J Capstone Project and STO7001 Theories and Practices of International Business.
His research focuses on international student employability, particularly in the UK context. Key themes include systemic reviews of postgraduate employability, doctoral student career perceptions through ecological systems theory, and tourism/hospitality industry linkages with education. His work intersects international education policy, cross-cultural competence, and global workforce dynamics.
Fa’s recent articles analyze employability challenges faced by international students across disciplines, emphasizing policy implications and institutional support mechanisms. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Business Management.
