FERNANDO ALCALDE CUESTA

Fernando Alcalde Cuesta is a Professor at the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Mathematics, University of Santiago de Compostela. He is affiliated with the Galician Mathematical Research and Technology Center (CITMAga) and actively engages in interdisciplinary research at the intersection of geometry, topology, and dynamical systems.

His research focuses on topological and measurable dynamics, including group dynamics, foliations, negative curvature systems, and evolutionary dynamics on complex networks with applications in systems biology. He has organized and participated in numerous geometry and topology seminars and colloquia, such as the Atlantic Geometry Seminar and the Spanish Topology Network.
