FENG Gangyi

Professor Feng Gangyi is an Associate Professor at the Department of Linguistics and Modern Languages, Faculty of Arts, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). His research focuses on the neurocognitive mechanisms of language learning, speech processing, and lexical-semantic representation using advanced techniques like ERP, fMRI, and DTI. He has secured significant funding from prestigious schemes including China’s National Excellent Young Scientists Award and Hong Kong’s RGC Collaborative Research Fund.

• PhD and BA in Psychology from South China Normal University
• Postdoctoral training at CUHK and the University of Texas at Austin
• Recipient of over HK$4.8M CRF Young Collaborative Research Grant

His work bridges cognitive neuroscience and language sciences, targeting predictive models for language learning success and rehabilitation.
