Fatma Beril Özcanlı is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Law at MEF University. She holds a Ph.D. in Corporate Law from Istanbul University and completed an Advanced LL.M. in European and International Business Law at Leiden University as a GBI scholar. Her research focuses on Commercial Law and Capital Markets Law.

She is a member of the European Law Institute (ELI), Istanbul Lisesi Alumni Association, and Istanbul Bar Association. Fluent in English and German, her academic work spans legal research at institutions in Germany, the Netherlands, and the United States.
