Dr. Fadime Yalçın Arslan is an Associate Professor at Gaziantep University Faculty of Education since 2019, specializing in English Language Teaching (ELT). She earned her PhD in 2014 from Çukurova University and holds a Master’s degree from Gaziantep University (2005).
- Education: PhD (English Language Teaching), MSc (English Language Teaching), BA (English Teacher Education)
- Research Interests: Teacher education, learner autonomy, vocabulary strategies, corrective feedback, flipped classrooms, and educational technology.
Her recent publications focus on reflective practice and teacher professional development, including studies on academic procrastination, flipped classroom effectiveness, and cross-cultural EFL challenges. She has supervised 21 graduate theses and taught courses like Sociolinguistics, Curriculum Development, and Teacher Training.
She previously worked as an English teacher at the Ministry of National Education (2002-2004) and held administrative roles including Department Vice Chair (2015-2023) at Gaziantep University.
