F. Alfredo García Prats

F. Alfredo García Prats is Professor of Financial and Tax Law and Jean Monnet Chair of EU Tax Law and Policy at the University of Valencia. With extensive international experience, he has been a visiting professor and researcher at prestigious institutions including London School of Economics, Harvard University, University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, and Georgetown University.

His expertise spans international and European taxation, tax planning, corporate taxation, and transfer pricing. Professor García Prats has published over 20 books and book chapters, along with 100 articles in leading national and international journals. He has served as an international public advisor, including roles as Observer and advisor to the UN Group of Experts on International Tax Cooperation and Senior Advisor to the International Monetary Fund.

Professor García Prats directs the research project 'The necessary update of tax systems to face the challenges of the 21st century' (XXITAX), which explores global tax governance, international tax coordination, digital economy taxation, and the impact of emerging technologies on taxation.
