Dr. Ezekiel Jarvis is a Professor of Creative Writing and Chair of the Humanities Department at Eureka College. He holds a PhD in English (2008), an MA in English (2002), and dual BA degrees in English and Mathematics (2000), all from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

His research and creative work focus on contemporary fiction, graphic novels, and representation in fiction. He actively engages in writing creative prose, including novels and short stories, and has published multiple books such as So Anyway…, In A Family Way, and The Three of Them (2020 novel).
Jarvis has served on community advisory boards for Unit 5 schools and his daughter’s PTO. At Eureka, he emphasizes close student-faculty connections, enabling personalized academic growth. His personal interests include cooking, reading, and film.
