Eynav Klechevsky is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pathology & Immunology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. She leads the Klechevsky Lab and serves as a Co-Director of the Immunology Program at the Division of Biology and Biomedical Sciences (DBBS). Her research bridges fundamental immunology with translational applications in cancer and autoimmunity.
- BSc in Molecular Biochemistry (Magna Cum laude), Technion – Israel Institute of Technology
- MSc (awarded during direct PhD program), Technion – Israel Institute of Technology
- PhD in Immunology (excellence direct PhD program), Technion – Israel Institute of Technology and The Baylor Institute for Immunology Research
Her work focuses on dendritic cell (DC) biology, elucidating how DC subtypes specialize in antigen recognition, co-receptor selection, cytokine production, and T cell skewing. She investigates DC dysfunction in diseases like psoriasis and cancer, aiming to develop vaccines and immunotherapies by leveraging these mechanisms.
The selected publications highlight her research trends, including DC differentiation models, STAT3 variants in immune dysregulation, and spatial analysis of inflammatory processes in psoriasis. These studies emphasize molecular immunology, inflammatory disease modeling, and translational immunotherapy.
The Klechevsky Lab collaborates with multidisciplinary programs such as Cancer Biology, Molecular Microbiology, and Computational and Systems Biology, reflecting her integrative approach to immunological research.
