Evija Kļave is a Researcher at the Centre for Educational Growth, actively contributing to academic projects and publications related to media dynamics, labour rights, and science policy. She is part of the Academic Staff Competence Model (COMPAC) project funded by the Latvian Council of Science (2023–2026), focusing on competence assessment, academic career development, and science policy.
Research Interests span media performance during wartime, journalistic principles in conflict zones, and policy frameworks for domestic workers' access to social protection. Her work aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly addressing social protection (SDG 1), peace and justice (SDG 16), and reduced inequalities (SDG 10).
Key Publications include analyses of media ethics in wartime and reports on labor and social protection in Latvia. Her research outputs (1 journal article, 1 commissioned report) reflect interdisciplinary engagement with social sciences, media studies, and public policy.
