Evie Andrew

Dr. Evie Andrew is a Researcher at the International Centre for Neuromorphic Systems (ICNS) within Western Sydney University, applying her background in data science and offensive cyber security to advance autonomous robotic systems in resource-constrained environments.

Her research focuses on developing onboard real-time multimodal data processing for anomaly detection and tracking, alongside creating realistic simulations to generate synthetic training data. This work addresses critical challenges in deploying intelligent robotics where computational resources are limited, leveraging neuromorphic computing principles to enhance system efficiency and adaptability.

As a core member of ICNS at Western Sydney University's Penrith campus, Dr. Andrew contributes to cutting-edge projects that bridge theoretical neuromorphic models with practical robotic applications, particularly in scenarios requiring robust perception and decision-making under constraints.
