Evgeny Lyandres is a Professor of Finance at Tel Aviv University and a Visiting Professor of Finance at Monash Business School. His research explores the interplay between financial and operating strategies, focusing on how product market competition influences corporate financial decisions, real options theory applications, and blockchain technology in finance.
His research spans topics such as capital structure choices, M&A strategies, initial coin offerings (ICOs), smart contracts, and legal aspects of corporate finance. Evgeny serves as Co-editor of the Journal of Corporate Finance and Associate Editor for other journals. He leads the Hogeg Blockchain Research Institute at Tel Aviv University, emphasizing blockchain's transformative potential in financial systems.
