Evelyne MARTIN

Evelyne MARTIN is a CNRS Research Professor at the University of Strasbourg, affiliated with the ICube Laboratory within the MATISEN Team. Her research focuses on atomic-scale modeling of nanomaterials, including thermal properties, exciton diffusion in organic photovoltaics, and silicon recrystallization. She has held leadership roles such as Deputy Head and Head of the MATISEN Team (2022–), Co-head of the ADynMat consortium, and Co-head of the IMEE axis. She coordinates major projects like ANR TACOS (2024–2028) and has led teams like NAMASTE (2016–2020).

Research interests include nanomaterials for electronics/sensors, photovoltaic materials, and atomic-scale simulations of thermal transport and quantum phenomena. She has supervised over 8 doctoral theses and internships, including recent projects on Sb₂S₃ thermal conductivity and exciton dynamics in organic PV materials.

Leadership roles include European Material Research Society (E-MRS) Executive Committee (2017–2019) and General Chair of E-MRS Fall Meeting 2018 in Warsaw. She has coordinated EU projects like FRENDTECH (2001–2004) and ANR initiatives like SIRENA (2018–2021).
