Evelyn Smith

Evelyn Smith is an Associate Professor in Clinical Psychology at Western Sydney University's School of Psychology, specializing in eating disorders and obesity research. She serves as Associate Editor for Clinical Obesity and collaborates closely with health professionals to advance experimental approaches in understanding and managing these conditions.

She has held progressive academic roles at Western Sydney University since 2015, starting as Lecturer, promoted to Senior Lecturer in 2017, and currently serving as Associate Professor. Professor Smith heads the Eating Disorders and Obesity Psychology Research Clinic, which integrates clinical practice with experimental research to innovate treatments and understand psychopathology.
