Evan Shapiro is an Adjunct Professor of Communications at Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business and an Adjunct Professor of Media and Entertainment at New York University’s Stern School of Business. As the 'Unofficial Official Cartographer of The Media Universe,' Shapiro created the seminal 'Media Universe Map' (2020), adopted as a critical tool by industry professionals and academics. His essays on media dynamics are widely read, and his consultancy firm ESHAP advises on media strategy and innovation.
