Evan Ingley is a Lecturer at Murdoch University, affiliated with the School of Medical, Molecular and Forensic Sciences within the College of Environmental and Life Sciences. He also serves as Head of the Cell Signalling Group at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research. His research focuses on protein tyrosine kinases (PTKs), particularly Src Family Kinases (SFKs), in cancer mechanisms and red blood cell quality.

- Bachelor of Science with 1st Class Honours in Zoology (1988), University of Canterbury
Research Interests: Investigates SFK roles in sarcoma metastasis, cancer cell migration, and RBC longevity. Develops personalized genomic medicine approaches for sarcoma patients using next-generation sequencing. Addresses challenges in clinical trials for rare cancers like sarcomas (~1% of all cancers).
Labs/Teams: Leads the Cell Signalling Lab at Murdoch and the Perkins Institute, focusing on therapeutic targets for sarcomas and improving blood transfusion quality for cancer patients.
