Eva-Maria Dichtl

Eva-Maria Dichtl is a Lecturer in the Department of German at the Pedagogical University of Schwäbisch Gmünd. Her work focuses on children's literature, media didactics, and intermedial teaching methods, particularly image-text media, audio media, and picture book apps.

Her research examines literacy acquisition in early childhood, with a focus on aesthetic and media-based learning processes. Recent publications explore unreliable narration, diversity in picture books, and intergenerational themes.

She contributes to public outreach through weekly literature recommendations in the Remser Zeitung and collaborates on editorial projects like the Forschungsreihe Literatur – Medien – Didaktik.
