Eva Lansu

Eva Lansu is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Coastal Systems group of the Royal Netherlands Institute for Sea Research (NIOZ), working under the supervision of Tjisse van der Heide and Valérie Reijers. She contributes to projects like SedWay and WadSed, focusing on sediment dynamics in the Wadden Sea influenced by shellfish reefs.

Her research interests include:

• Spatial dimensions of climate-resilient natural beach-dune landscapes
• Atmospheric aridity over European forests during heat waves
• Soil erosion and respiration after heavy rainfall events
• Land-atmosphere modelling
• Coastal protection
