Eva Hofsli

Eva Hofsli is an Associate Professor at the Department of Clinical and Molecular Medicine, Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). Her research focuses on molecular oncology with a particular emphasis on colorectal cancer biomarkers, neuroendocrine tumors, and treatment efficacy evaluation. She has been actively involved in the NORDIC NEC and NORDIC9 clinical studies, investigating genetic alterations in neuroendocrine neoplasms and treatment outcomes in vulnerable patient populations. Her work combines clinical research with translational studies, including liquid biopsy applications and molecular diagnostics.

Key research interests include circulating microRNA profiling for early cancer detection, genetic biomarkers predicting chemotherapy response, and optimizing care for older cancer patients. She contributes to both basic science (e.g., tumor biology) and applied research (e.g., mHealth technology for adverse event monitoring).
