Eva Bay Wedebye

Eva Bay Wedebye is a Senior Executive Officer and Head of the Research Group for Chemical Risk Assessment and GMO at the National Food Institute (Technical University of Denmark). Her work focuses on (Q)SAR modeling for toxicity prediction, regulatory compliance (e.g., REACH), and reducing animal testing. She leads projects like PARC and FREIA, advancing tools for endocrine disruption assessment.

Education: PhD in Environmental Chemistry (University of Copenhagen, 1997). She advises on OECD frameworks and contributes to the (Q)SAR Application Toolbox. Her research emphasizes large-scale chemical screening, including the Danish Advisory List for Self-Classification.
