Eustathios Sainidis is a Senior Lecturer in Strategic Management at the Newcastle Business School, Northumbria University, where he has been since 2002. He currently serves as Faculty Coordinator of the Northumbria London Campus and has previously held roles such as Program Leader for MSc Business with Management and the Corporate MBA (Severstal). His expertise includes strategic management, international business, and SME manufacturing strategies. Sainidis has contributed to numerous academic conferences and publications, focusing on topics like blockchain adoption, AI in education, and sustainable practices in SMEs.
He holds a PhD in Management (2013), MSc in Manufacturing Engineering (1998), and BA in Politics (1997). He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and a member of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). His research emphasizes UK manufacturing SMEs, environmental turbulence, and innovation management. Sainidis has also acted as an External Examiner for UK universities and delivered guest lectures at the Stockholm School of Economics.
His publications span mixed-method studies on sustainability, digital transformation in land title management, and Industry 4.0 applications. His work highlights trends in leveraging technology (blockchain, AI) for operational efficiency and strategic decision-making in SMEs, alongside adapting to environmental and economic challenges.
