Eugen Ganea is an Assistant Professor at the University of Craiova, affiliated with the Faculty of Automatic Control, Computers and Electronics and the Department of Computer Science and Technology. He has been actively involved in teaching and research since 2003, with a focus on Object-oriented programming, Visual Programming Environments, Software Engineering, and Image Processing.
His research spans multiple domains, including:
- Development of multimedia applications
- Image segmentation and annotation using hypergraph structures
- Object-oriented Petri nets for modeling intelligent manufacturing systems
- Neural networks for shape recognition
- Medical imaging database systems
Notable projects include:
